In The Lab

Welcome to my laboratory. Do come in and look around. Make yourself comfortable and don’t be alarmed by any... strange noises that you hear.

I have created in my laboratory, a vast range of Action Figures for your delight and amusement. There is something here for everyone.

Anime

Do you like Amine? It came from Japan originally but now there are many examples in the West. Amine means animation and it was used by film-makers as an alternative to producing live-action movies.

There are many styles of Anime, and different artists all have their own style. Some like the wild, exaggerated look, others prefer a softer look.

Who are your favorite characters? Bandai, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Gundam, Yu-Gi-Oh or perhaps Saint Seya? They’re all here.

Comic Book Heroes

Do you like comics? When I was little - and that was many, many years ago -I used to spend all my pocket money on comics. I particularly loved Superman and Batman and the heroes from the DC Universe such as The Flash, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.

They were soon joined by a large camp from Marvel comics - Spiderman, The X-Men, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk and many more.

Many of the Marvel characters have appeared in movies. I especially like the baddies such as Doctor Doom and The Silver Surfer.

Hundreds of other comic book heroes have appeared over the years but the older ones never lose their appeal.

I still pick up a Superman or Batman comic to read during my coffee break in the Lab!

Military Men

There have always been military heroes. Action Man may be the most well-known but do you also know GI Joe, Big Jim, Captain Action and Max Steel?

My favourite is Dragon because I think he can be a bit scary at times.

Sports Stars

Sports stars are the heroes of America and I’m sure every boy dreams of being a football hero, a basketball star or some other sporting athlete. But remember, not everyone’s built like an athlete and you don’t have to be a sportsman to be a hero!

Although I like football, my favourite sporting stars are WWF and WWE wrestlers. I really love their wacky names and outlandish outfits. I like watching the sport, too but I can’t believe all those moves are for real.

Transformers

Transformers are probably my favourite figures. Their ability to change from one thing into another is brilliant! Robots in disguise! I like both the Autobots and the Decepticons - although I always want the Autobots to win, of course.

And there are so many which is another wonderful thing about them. How many can you name? Megatron, Jetfire, Optimus Prime, Cybertron, Dinobot, Energon and lots more.

The Transformers movies were good, weren’t they? They made me want to revisit all the figures and make them transform all over again.

Super Mario Brothers

The race through the Mushroom Kingdom! Who would have thought that a video game would lead to a movie which would create such an interest in these characters?

Did you enjoy the film of the Plumber Brothers? It was a little darker than the game - which I liked, of course!

I love the Mario, Luigi and Daisy characters but there are so many more wonderful creations there, too.

Star Wars

Star Wars is everyone’s favourite movie series. Which is your favourite film? I like the original series with Yoda. Don’t you think he looks a little like me?

My favourite characters are definitely the musicians in the nightclub playing that weird music!

The characters in Star Wars are so interesting - Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo and Chewbacca, Jabba The Hutt and the creepy Emperor. And of course our heroes - Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, not forgetting the robots - R2D2 and C3PO!

There are also dozens and dozens of other characters which populate the films. I can’t remember them all. Can you?

Of course, the characters aren’t the only stars. I love the spaceships - the Millennium Falcon held together by string and good luck! I really love those little X-Wing Fighters, the Pod Walkers, and what about the massive Death Star!

May the Force be with you.

Now it’s time to get back to work...
